1. CARRIER

Can be metallic or non metallic
(steel, aluminium, plastic).

• Steel : standard thickness is 0.2mm.
  can be increased to 1,5mm.
• Aluminium : standard is 0.5mm.
  can be increased to 1 - 1.5mm.
• Plastic : can be possible on full plastic surface or micro-perforated surface.

Metallic carrier have a primer coating on each face to have good rubber bonding (high performance primer coating without heavy metal).

If metallic carrier is used, LEM gasket can have local forming or can be a 3D parts (cover, front retainer, rear retainer, …)
with integration of :

• Part rigidity.
• Static gasket.
• Dynamic gasket ( if necessary ).
• Sensors.
• Bolts.
• …
